A Day of Infamy and Presumptions

The Day After.....

Besides being sickened by what has just happened in our country, I am sickened by the presumptions and conclusions that are floating around in the media and in the minds of Americans.

No one seems to have any 'real' information as of yet, yet everyone seems to have their 'beliefs' ... and firm they are. Everybody wants their two cents heard and everyone is so sure they're right about what this means.

After studying political science as a science for almost four years I can understand what type of implications this "MIGHT" have .... and what the U.S. Leaders "MIGHT" do .... I am sick of hearing people complain about fears of World War III ... the U.S. bombing some arab country in retalliation, fears of being in large cities, and so on and so forth. Don't jump to conclusions based on your limited knowledge and your limited intelligence (if that be the case).

I cannot imagine a more horrible or terrifying act than what occured yesterday, but the fact remains that it is not something that is easily summed up or easily rectified. Everything will unfold and sift itself out with time, be it a week, a month, a year or a decade ... everything with come to it's place.

When we attempt to analyze this disaster at this point in time we make an attempt at futility. As I watch the TV I see that the dust STILL has not settled over what used to be 1 World Trade Center Plaza ... literally ... so let the dust settle and let the information come out. Then and only then can we make conclusions about this day of infamy that has now been seared into our consciousness.

Thank you to everyone who reads this journal.
