Well, it's not really an ode, but oh well, I like the word "ode". Anyway, today is the birthday of a very special person. Not just a special person to me, but a special person. One of those people, who even though they aren't the center of attention, or the life of a party ... the person who everyone remembers.

The girl who shyly laughs at just about everything that could be funny. The girl who never fails to have a bit of advice, whether its good or not. But it's still good because it's said with care. The girl who put other's feelings in front of her own even though she'd never admit it. The girl who will never admit to being wrong either, even when she has a mountain of proof in front of her. The girl who does silly things when she gets drunk. The girl who makes everyone feel better just by being around. The girl who has been my friend for a long time ... and hopefully a long time to come. The woman who is now 21.
